If you love something, let it go. If it loves you, it will return. ... This adage is an annoyance. If you love someone, you fight tooth and nail for it, and if you love something such as a craft or project you won't give up on that either. All this thing does is prove to the other person that either you didn't care, or on a craft don't care enough to pursue them. Of course there are always exceptions, and sometimes you don't let go of one person; instead they disentangle from you. Or maybe you can't get into a craft because of hefty introductory garbage that gets in the way.
By and large, though, this thing means to me that people give up
The edge of a sun-drenched canyon, at the peak of twilight. A stampede of thunderous hooves and of war drums sounding. An army marched. To battle? To slaughter. Deep within the canyon walls lurked a threat to all of their kind. A syanicide dragon, a black dragon. Breath that can corrode armor, melt skin, bone, weapons in moments. And they were to fight it.
A king led his people against this threat, and it is not the first, nor the last time he will do so. His people trust him. They praise him. He was an honorable hero, and a living legend. Nary a single soul would refuse to take up arms for him. And now, they take up arms to fight this bea
The human spirit is something not many people give insight to on a daily basis. It's one of the most amazing things in this world. It's the thing that makes a mother who has been through horrible events still have the ability to give her children a loving, caring smile, and a comforting hug when they're sad. It's something that makes a man fighting for a cause stand up, even after he has been so obviously crushed, and not back down.
I know someone that even though they have been through so much, still has the ability to laugh at my silliness, and smile to others. I'm very grateful to have met her, and in a morbid sort of way, a
What is it that can drive someone to go to any lengths to make another happy? What force is so... irrepressable that one person will do anything to keep someone close? A force that can build bridges, crush empires, and reduce the strongest of men to submissive masses of flesh? Love.
A state of insanity, of instability, in which a person will go to any length to make someone else enjoy themselves. It causes the highest plateau of happiness possible. It can also reduce people of the hardiest emotional standpoints to saddened heaps of tears. But why? Why do people do it? Try to fall in love? There is a simple answer. There is no feeling like
A storm, or rather, the precursor of one, blowing the trees all about, emitting a horrible whistling through the evergreens. The branches of other trees groans, and the treetops wailed as the wind pushed insistently on them. Upon the horizon, black clouds glared at the trees, and with an evil smirk, blew harder, causing the trees to buckle.
"Please, stop!" the trees groaned, begging the clouds for mercy. "We cannot take much more!" Replied the clouds, "Nay, trees, I am just getting started. This is merely the first beginnings of my might."
The trees continued to sigh, and moan as the winds ripped furiously through them. Soon, light rain
The days were beautiful in the town of Oakshire, town of eternal green. Where happiness thrived, even though occasionally certain events disturbed the peace. Occasionally it was a theft, sometimes a fire. Even, sometimes, it just was a bit of news from other towns. Today, it seemed like one of those days that something could happen.
Elara was watching her father mess with the garden, just a bit uninterested. It was a clear, cool day, why not go enjoy it? She took up her cloak and drapes it comfortably around her shoulders. After all, there's always the chance it might get colder. Flash storms had happened before. She told her dad that she
